Data controller
Under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by 4K Mekanik İnşaat Ticaret Ltd. Şti. (“4K Mekanik”) as data controller, within the scope explained below.

- Contact details: phone number and email address
- Request details: company name, request type, service, building type, location and message content

- Assessing your information, site survey and quotation requests and responding to you
- Carrying out site survey, quantity take-off and quotation processes
- Where you request it, establishing and performing a contract
- Fulfilling our legal obligations
Collection method and legal grounds
Your personal data is collected electronically or verbally through the messages you send us via WhatsApp using the quote form on our website, phone calls and email correspondence.
It is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK: (c) processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, (ç) processing is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligation, and (f) processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
Transfer of personal data
Limited to the purposes above and in line with the legislation, your personal data may be shared with our accounting and legal advisers and, upon request, with authorised public institutions.
If you send the quote form via WhatsApp, your message is transmitted through the WhatsApp service infrastructure, whose servers may be located abroad. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can contact us by phone.
Retention
Your personal data is kept for as long as the purposes of processing require and for the retention periods set out in the relevant legislation, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights under the KVKK
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to the data controller to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed;
- request information if it has been processed;
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly;
- know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom your data is transferred;
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
- request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK;
- request that corrections, deletions or destructions be notified to third parties to whom your data was transferred;
- object to a result against you arising from the analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems;
- claim compensation for damage arising from the unlawful processing of your data.
These rights are set out in Article 11 of the KVKK.
How to apply
You may submit requests regarding your rights in writing to the address above, or via registered electronic mail (KEP), secure electronic signature, mobile signature or the email address you have previously notified to us, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Requests are concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on their nature.
